TV veteran Eamonn Holmes and his girlfriend Katie Alexander have been an item for four months, and they're not shy about their blossoming romance.

The Northern Irish presenter and the relationship expert have already enjoyed a getaway to Belfast and are now soaking up the sun on a Mediterranean cruise.

Eamonn, 64, and Katie, 42, are reportedly taking things to the next level, with plans to move in together. Following the public announcement of his split from Ruth Langsford, his co-presenter and wife, in May, Eamonn moved into a rental property while Ruth stayed in their expansive six-bedroom family home in Weybridge, Surrey.

"Katie's assured him she's in it for the long haul and they're both settling down nicely. They've been spending so much time at his Kingston flat that they're even looking to move in together permanently," an insider revealed to the Sun. "They're really keen to move into a bigger place in the country with lots of land."

As the couple enjoy their luxurious holiday aboard Virgin Voyager's Scarlet Lady, visiting stunning locations in Italy and the French Riviera, we explore more about Katie....

Yorkshire-born therapist Katie is a mother to a 22-year-old son named Ben, whom she shares with her ex, bus driver Michael Devine. The mum-of-three was previously wed to pub owner George Alexander, with whom she has another son and daughter, reports the Mirror.

The couple went their separate ways in 2022, years after she had initially reached out to GB News host Eamonn online. Katie began a virtual rapport with the TV veteran after interacting through Twitter back in 2015.

Michael recounted to The Sun: "She was not swooning over him like he was George Clooney but she liked being on social media and one day said she'd had a reply from him," He further revealed: "She'd commented on one of his posts and Eamonn got in touch. I must admit I laughed it off."

George and Katie concluded their marital journey on good terms, with no ties to Eamonn influencing their decision. Michael told of how even post-divorce, Katie maintained her connection with her newfound friend Eamonn, saying, "I was surprised by it," and disclosed, "Katie would go and visit him. It was a regular pattern."

While George's marriage break up had nothing to do with the TV presenter, some reports have suggested Ruth discovered in the year running up to their split Eamonn had been showering Katie with gifts. This included reportedly joining her at a safari park with her children and giving them Beyonce tickets.

It is also rumoured Eamonn made trips to Yorkshire to host a charity event associated with the work of his current partner. Just last month, the now-duo were spotted in Belfast, turning heads as they dined for four consecutive days at the popular eatery Papa Browns in Carrickfergus.

Eamonn's personal life includes two prior marriages, his first union being with Gabrielle Holmes lasting nine years, during which they had three children: Declan, Rebecca, and Niall. He later exchanged vows with Ruth in 2010, and together they share a son named Jack.

The celebrity, who has been dealing with serious mobility issues, underwent a double hip replacement in 2016 and back surgery just last year. This week, he was spotted arriving at the Spanish port of Barcelona on a mobility scooter, ready to embark on a week-long cruise with his new partner.
