Bella Hadid unfollows Selena Gomez on Instagram after date with her ex

Selena Gomez might have been named 2016’s most popular celebrity on Instagram, with close to 106m followers now to her name, but she’s just lost one very famous supporter.

That’s right; Bella Hadid unfollowed the ‘Hands to Myself’ songstress on the photo-sharing site on Wednesday afternoon, just hours after Selena seemingly dishonoured the girl code in a series of photos.

The 24-year-old pop star – who shares mutual pals with Bella – was photographed kissing the model’s ex The Weeknd following a three-hour long date at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.

An insider told E! News that the pair looked “very happy.”

“They were there for three hours! Just the two of them,” they said. “They came out and were so happy.”

One person who doesn’t appear to be happy over the photos obtained by TMZ, showing Selena enjoying a passionate embrace with The Weeknd, is Bella, who split from the ‘Starboy’ singer two months ago.

What’s more, The Weeknd – real name Abel Tesfaye – is said to have fancied Selena for some time.

“Abel though always had a thing for Selena. He thinks she is extremely talented and sexy,” an insider revealed. They recently started talking before the holidays but she has been on his radar before.

They are on the same level with expectations and think the other is really fun. They are taking things slow and getting to know each other.”

Despite breaking up after an 18-month romance in November, Bella and The Weeknd have reportedly remained on good terms – and she continues to follow her former beau on the social networking platform.

Speaking to The Mirror, Bella recently insisted: “There is no awkwardness. He is my best friend, and I am excited because I am walking during his [Victoria’s Secret] performance.”

But while two might be company, it’s safe to say that three’s a crowd for Bella.
