Beloved daughter who died suddenly remembered as a 'joy to be around'

Tributes have been paid to a much-loved daughter who died suddenly. Becki Richards, 42, is described as a dearly loved daughter and sister, and an adored aunt.

Her death was shared in this week's funeral announcements on CornwallLive's sister website, where it was said that she will be "deeply missed by all her family, friends and colleagues".

One mourner posted online: "Becki was always smiling and a joy to be around, I can remember how excited she was at every concert and whenever she came to see the band. She will be missed dearly, we all love you Becki."

The funeral announcement reads: "Rebecca Richards, of Truro, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 10, at her home, aged 42 years.

"Dearly loved daughter of the late Jeffery and the late Margaret, much-loved sister of Sam, sister-in-law of Andrew, adored Auntie Bec Bex of Harry, Martha and Evie and dear niece.

"She will be deeply missed by all her family, friends and colleagues. A celebration of Becki’s Life will take place at Truro Methodist Church on Monday, December 9, at 12.30pm, followed by the committal at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne.

"Please wear colourful clothing."
