A 'beloved husband and father' has been remembered as part of this week's death and funeral notices. Yadi Ensan father to Sara, Reza and Mehrnoosh, died on September 19.

Died peacefully at home on September 24, aged 98. He leaves Penny, his much loved wife of 72 years, and his two daughters Amanda and Stephanie.

Private cremation followed by a Thanksgiving for his Life on Thursday, October 31 at 2.30pm at St Paul's Church, Dorking. Family flowers only. Donations to St Catherine's Hospice, Crawley and St Paul's Church, Dorking.

Jane Jewell DAVEY (Grose)

Jane Jewell Davey (nee Grose) died peacefully in Woodingdean on September 4, with her daughters at her side. She was 89 years, and had moved up-country from West Penwith as she grew frailer in late 2022.

Occupational therapist, smallholder, student of Japanese, gardener, wife of Peter Gordon Davey, mother of four (Richard, Gail, Bridget and Frank) and grandmother of five (Almi, Lukas, Ella, Jed and Sam), Jane will be greatly missed. A celebration of Jane's life will be held at Paul Parish Church on Saturday, December 7, at 2.30pm. No flowers please. Any donations to Shelterbox or PDSA.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yadollah (Yadi) Ensan on September 19. Beloved husband and father to Sara, Reza and Mehrnoosh.

Funeral, to which all are welcome, will be held on Wednesday, October 2 2024 at 2.30pm, at Brookwood Cemetery, North Entrance, Plot 130.

Raymond Edward (Ray) GALLAGHER

Ray passed away on September 13, aged 93 years. He will be sadly missed by his four daughters, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild along with all his family and friends.

Funeral service on Wednesday, October 9, at Randalls Park, Leatherhead at 11am. Donations in memory of Ray for The Queen Elizabeth Foundation can be made online via the obituaries tab at www.sherlockandsons.co.uk or sent to Sherlock Funeral Service, Dorking.

Joan (Joanie) MANSFIELD

Passed away peacefully on September 16, aged 104. She is survived by her daughters Jacquie and Trisha, her grandson Hudson and great grandchildren.

Much loved and missed by so many in Walton on Thames. Funeral to take place on Monday, October 14, at 11.30am at St Bartholomew Church, Warleggan, Cornwall PL30 4HB.

William John (Bill) SHIPTON

Bill peacefully passed away in Sydney Australia aged 85. Beloved husband of Marina and father to Kim. Cherished son of Gilbert and Julia. Bill had 8 siblings Antony, Bernard, Eileen, Nancy, Doris, Shirley, Terry and Brian - albeit living mainly in Australia he was in touch with his siblings and all his nieces and nephews. He will be not be forgotten. Bill will be buried in Sydney, Australia.
