Below Deck star Izzy Wouters has come out as a lesbian in an Instagram post.
The reality star came out publicly on Tuesday (December 15), sharing a couple of pictures of herself on the Bravo show.
"The face of the straight men who slide into my dm's when I say - HELLO MY NAME IS IZZY AND I AM OUT AND PROUD," she captioned the images.
She also added the hashtags #LankyLezzy and #OutAndProud, along with a rainbow, heart and pride flag emojis.
On her Instagram Stories, she later added: "I was going to come out creatively but then @courtneyskippon pointed out that I'd basically come out with this post."
She was referring to a previous Twitter post she wrote which read: "Having a platonic work husband is almost as fun and satisfying as I imagine having a platonic sugar daddy would be."
On the same Instagram post, Wouters joked: "Disclaimer: Will still accept money from a platonic sugar daddy or mummy. I don't discriminate when money is involved."
She also shared some of the messages of support she's received since coming out, writing above one of them: "Thank you so so much for your support everyone."
Wouters, who is New Zealand-born but was raised and lives in Australia, serves as a stewardess and deckhand on season 8 of Below Deck.
The reality series follows her and other young individuals who work on illustrious yachts.
Below Deck 8 airs on Bravo in the US and on hayu in the UK.
