Belvedere stabbing: Man dies after being found with serious injuries in south east London
A man has died after being found with serious stab injuries in south east London.
Police were called to Heron Hill Road in Belvedere shortly after 6am on Friday by paramedics to reports of a man with stab injuries.
Officers attended and found a man seriously injured.
"The man was transported a short distance by ambulance to Plumstead High Street, where paramedics from the air ambulance treated him," Scotland Yard said in a statement.
"Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died shortly after 7am."
A scene is currently in place at #HeronHill and #PlumsteadHighStreet after a man was found with fatal stab injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances. Not being treated as a murder investigation at this stage.

Police said a crime scene has been put in place in both Heron Hill Road and Plumstead High Street and enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin.
