Ben Affleck has admitted he's "a little nervous" about shooting Ridley Scott's new movie The Last Duel with his real-life bestie, Matt Damon.
But it's nothing to do with the fact he's being directed by one of the industry's biggest names or because he's acting alongside his close friend, it's all down to entering a genre that's completely alien to him.
And this is a guy who took on the role of Batman.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight recently, the Triple Frontier star explained: "I am a little nervous. Because I have never done Medieval! It's 1386, so it is like armour and swords and stuff like that.

"But it was a real pleasure working with Matt [Damon] and Nicole Holofcener, who wrote the script with us. [Matt and I] kept saying, 'Why have we not done this more often?' We just got lucky that our schedules kind of intersected so that we had some free time to share."
So apart from the odd shiver of self-doubt, Affleck seems pretty pleased with the opportunity.
He elaborated: "We got Ridley Scott directing it. And Jodie Comer's in the movie, so that's very exciting, and Adam [Driver]."
Affleck's character is currently unknown.
But while we don't know who he'll be playing yet, we do know that the movie centres on two former friends – Damon's Jean de Carrouges and Driver's Jacques Le Gris – who must take part in a literal last duel to the death when the former accuses the latter of raping his wife (played by Comer).
The Last Duel is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 25.
