Ben & Jerry’s Newest Ice Cream Is Inspired by Netflix’s ‘Space Force’ (BTW, It Has a Cookie Dough Core)

We could all use a little more ice cream in our lives these days. And with impeccable timing, our two favorite guys (ahem, Ben & Jerry) just launched a new pint in collaboration with Netflix’s upcoming comedy series Space Force.

Boots on the Moooo’n is a milk chocolate ice cream with fudge cows, toffee “meteor” clusters and a sugar cookie dough core (yum). According to a press release, the limited-edition flavor was inspired by the Space Force’s goal to get “boots on the moon” (with a little dairy humor added to the mix). It joins the brand’s two other Netflix-themed pints, Netflix and Chill’d and Chip Happens, because the only thing better than spending the day binge-watching a new show on Netflix is doing it with ice cream.

And ICYMI, Space Force—which was co-created by Steve Carell and The Office showrunner Greg Daniels—follows a decorated Air Force pilot (Carell) who is tasked with leading the U.S. Armed Forces’ newest branch, Space Force. We can only assume antics will ensue, as John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich), Lisa Kudrow (Friends), Diana Silvers (Booksmart), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) and Jimmy O. Yang (Crazy Rich Asians) join the cast, among others.

The Ben & Jerry’s ice cream will be available in grocery stores and scoop shops nationwide, and Space Force starts streaming on May 29. Weekend plans?
