When two actors who have voiced Batman come together, there's only thing to do: have a bat-off.
Which is exactly what Ben McKenzie and Will Arnett did on last night's (May 2) Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as Will temporarily took on the role of host.
Although we might better know Ben as another member of the DC Universe – he plays Commissioner Gordon in Gotham – he did once voice Bats in the straight-to-DVD animated title Batman: Year One.
Watch Ben put his version of Batman up against Will's Bruce Wayne from The Lego Batman Movie in the hilarious clip below. Never have fortune cookies sounded so ominous.
We reckon this is a feature that could spawn any number of spin-offs – unlike the 80th anniversary of The Dark Knight, which is definitely not leading to a host of Batman movies. Boo.
Yep, the rumour that four, or even six, Bat-Family movies would be making their way to cinemas in 2019 turned out to be totally false.
Warner Bros executive Jon Berg tweeted creative head of the DCEU Geoff Johns to ask: "[W]hy didn't you tell me we were releasing 4 Batman movies in 2019? Can we increase that to 10?"
"27," Johns joked in reply. "Including Batmite: The Movie."
Will Arnett swapped his bat cave for the Jimmy Kimmel Live! studio on Tuesday, as he took over from Jimmy while his newborn son recovers from open heart surgery.
Other guest hosts lined up include Anthony Anderson, Kristen Bell, David Spade, Maya Rudolph, Charlie Hunnam, Adam Scott and, somewhat randomly, Guy Ritchie.
