Bereaved husband asks Macron for 'French Covid victims tribute day'

After losing his wife to Covid-19, without having been able to see her in hospital "neither alive nor dead", Lionel Petitpas is campaigning hard to set up a national day of tribute to all the victims of the pandemic. Because "our dead have gone without any respect, without any human dignity, without any recognition and until proven otherwise they are not numbers", he says. He invites French president Emmanual Macron to meet with his association.
