Celebrations in Los Angeles and London fizzed last night as A-list actors came together for the 2021 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Hosted by Soho House in the UK, ‘The Crown’ cast pulled focus. Emma Corrin, who plays Princess Diana in the series, was striking in a strapless Miu Miu gown complete with fingerless, arm length gloves, black acrylic nails and a coordinating skull cap.

Olivia Colman, who was award winning for her portrayal of the Queen, looked classic in a caped, navy blue and orange Roksanda gown, while Josh O’Connor, who nailed his turn as Prince Charles, wore a fabric black flower over his ribbon bow tie on the carpet.

Neon also made its return across the Atlantic. Michaela Coel, who won for her series ‘I May Destroy You’, and gave a powerful acceptance speech, arrived in an electric chartreuse shade two-piece skirt and bandeau by Christopher John Rogers, while Kaley Cuoco wore the same colour front split dress with matching heels.

As ever, style statements were made. Billy Porter, who has become a red carpet moment mainstay, wore black pleated wings created by Ashi Studio. For Elizabeth Olsen it was a family affair, stepping out in her sisters’ label The Row. Meanwhile, Cynthia Erivo committed to a feathered train Louis Vuitton outfit, and Anya Taylor-Joy tried for the longest train in golden Dior Haute Couture.
