1. Sunday Riley U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil

Sunday Riley made noise on the beauty scene last year with its blogger-approved Luna oil, but the one to have on your bathroom counter this winter is the green ‘ultra-clarifying’ UFO oil. It contains with 1.5 percent salicylic acid - a beta hydroxy acid that’s a total saviour for spot prone skin. Thick and comforting, the mixture absorbs into the skin quickly, while added milk thistle and cucumber seed help to keep your face super nourished throughout the night. It's worth noting that the smell can be a little bit off-putting at first, especially if you’re not a fan of liquorice. We found it cleared up any blemishes and flare-ups in as little as one week.

7. Aesop Fabulous Face Oil

Packed with essential oils, Aesop’s super hydrating oil is a good option if you suffer from dry patches in the winter months. If you’re looking to tackle the signs of ageing, we’d recommend doubling this up with a serum, as it won’t do everything. It is, however, a wonderfully nourishing treatment for the skin which makes it a great travel buddy for long haul flights. It has quite a potent ylang ylang scent which you’ll either love or hate - personally, we love it, but it’s worth having a sniff in the shop if you’re sensitive to strong fragrances.

Our hero product has to be the Kypris 1,000 Roses oil, which managed to reduce three of our major skin issues in just a few weeks – breakouts, brightness and fine lines.
