FORMER Rangers star Ally McCoist has revealed to the nation the restaurant near Glasgow that does 'the best garlic naan in the world'.
The presenter was chatting with co-host Laura Woods on the talkSport breakfast show about some of his favourite places for a feed when he gave a big shout out to the Bishopton Tandoori for their 'top grub'.
McCoist said: "I've got to say, the Bishopton Tandoori does, quite simply, the best garlic naan in the world.
"It is absolutely amazing."
The Greenock Road eatery specialises in South Indian dishes and is a short drive from McCoist's home in Kilmacolm.
The pair also praised Mister Singh's India in Glasgow's Elderslie Street, which Ally took Woods to for a meal during a recent visit to Glasgow.
She said: "I was full after the starters, but this delicious food just kept coming out - I could barely move by the end, it was so nice."
It is owned by Satty Singh, a long-time friend of McCoist and a lifelong Rangers fan.
Glasgow curry king Satty ended up naming his son after ex-Rangers defender Oleg Kuznetsov.
The Ukrainian international was an unlikely goalscorer as Walter Smith’s Light Blues beat Celtic 4-2 at Parkhead on New Year’s Day 199, and netted after the restauranteur had promised to name his new arrival after the next person to score for the Ibrox club.
