The best Glasgow pantos to take the family to enjoy this Christmas
The Coca Cola Truck is on its way and Mariah has reappeared with her most famous hit, which can only mean one thing – that's right it's finally Panto season.
As with every year, these wonderful traditional shows are back, with plenty of options on offer around the city, featuring some of your favourite fairy tales or fables, with Scotland's top TV and soap stars, models and presenters flexing their acting skills (or lack thereof) on stage.
So if you're looking for the best pantos to take the family to this festive season, then we have pulled together a top list featuring the best shows from across the city.

Glasgow Pavilion
Prepare yourself for a Glasgow-style twist on the classic fairy tale with Beauty and the Beastie as Liam Dolan, Grado, Stephen Purdon, Scott Fletcher, Valissa Scott, Craig Glover, Jennifer Neil, Jack Jester and Nikki Auld get ready to light up the Pavilion stage with their usual blend of Panto mayhem.

Kings Theatre
The Kings said: "This years’ diamond panto Peter Pan will include all the favourites from Neverland and as audiences at The King’s have come to expect, will feature spectacular special effects, stunning sets and costumes and laugh-out-loud comedy and entertainment for all the family."

The Tron Theatre

Touring community panto
Hopscotch Theatre Company said: "Pinocchio is a playful young robot with more heart than hardware - he’s real! Oh yes he is, even if not everyone sees it that way. Join Pin and his friends on an exciting journey from Geppetto’s neon workshop to the circus, and beyond. But watch out for the big, bad fox, Mr Sleekit. He loves nothing more than tricking people into following him, but everything he offers comes with a price.
