Best Man belts out 'Let It Go' spoof in hilarious toast to lifelong friend

The best man’s speech is terrifying enough - but what Joey Boyes did for groom Dominic Clarke took absolute nerves of steel.

Joey ditched the traditional speech and instead burst into song - belting out his own take of ‘Let It Go’ from Disney’s smash hit ‘Frozen’.

Joey, 27, penned the song for his lifelong best friend Dom, who married the love of his life Becky last weekend.

His remake, titled ‘Best Man Joe’, took six months to write and perfect, and includes the expected best man speech nods to Dom’s love life and embarrassing past.

The Disney spoof starts with the line: ‘After years of dating mingers, he's finally found a queen.’

At the chorus, Joe sings: ‘Best man Joe, says hello, to the couple with the brightest spark.

'Best man Joe, says hello, to the brand new Mrs Clarke.'

Joe, from Hull, East Yorkshire, said: ‘I've known Dom all my life and I wanted to do something special.

'We both did theatre when we were younger and Becky loves Disney so this seemed perfect. It went down much better than I expected.

'I started writing it six months ago and I've been singing it constantly right up until their big - even on the one and half hour drive to pick him up.'

Dominic, 28, and Becky, also 28, tied the knot on Saturday August 16 after being together for seven years and now live in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Joey said: 'I've known Dominic all my life. Our parents were friends before we were born.

'Dom was there at my first birthday party so I dropped a little line in about that.'
