AN EX-HOOPS star and his partner have revealed their secret engagement.

Craig Gordon and former Celtic TV presenter Summer Harl unveiled the news to her Instagram followers on Sunday evening with a touching video clip.

In the footage, the goalkeeper and their two children are all holding hands with Summer and one by one they move their hands away to reveal her engagement ring.

She explained that they became engaged on December 21 but decided to postpone the celebrations as "a lot has happened since".

Hearts skipper Craig, who recently turned 40, was dealt a double-injury blow after breaking his leg in two places during the Christmas Eve game against Dundee United.

The horror injury has left him ruled out for the rest of the season.
