'Best solution' to tackle window condensation and prevent mould this winter
You know winter is here when condensation finally starts cropping up.
It's an issue which impacts most homes across the UK. Condensation tends to happen when warm, moist air comes into contact with a cold surface which then causes the water in the air to release and form liquid drops.
Sadly it's a normal occurrence, especially in the colder months and rooms, it's the most common cause of dampness in your property. Now one woman on TikTok believes she's found the "best solution" to tackle the issue and prevent mould.
The account, Benella Home Organisation, who boasts nearly 9,000 followers, revealed: "Do you struggle with this? If so, I've got the solution for you. Condensation happens at the back of my house because it's the windows that are not in the sun in the morning."

Sharing her solution, the woman added: "And now the weather has turned, I get condensation every morning, so it's horrible. It's going to make my windows all mouldy, so I have this. This is my second winter with it and it's amazing, it's a window vacuum."
Demonstrating how it's used, she added: "You just go down like so and along. You keep going and then I just wipe the bottom of the soil where it can sometimes still drip. It's awesome, it literally takes five minutes to do three big windows and saves it going mouldy."
The post garnered 21,400 likes and hundreds of comments since it was shared. And it's safe to say many people had a say on it as one wrote: "Or buy a dehumidifier." While another added: "Open your windows and save money."
Others were more keen to try it as a person commented: "Thank you!" You can buy this kind of tool to tackle your condensation from Amazon for around £30 and maybe even cheaper since Black Friday sales are on.
