'Freddie Mercury: The Final Act', 'Doctor Who': The best things on TV this weekend, 26-28 November

The weekend kicks off with six celebrities debating modern womanhood and their experiences of it on BBC Two with Womanhood, while there's a chance to relive the highlights of Bake Off series 12 in Channel 4's The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice.

On Saturday, BBC Two gives itself over to an evening celebrating Queen, featuring the documentary Freddie Mercury: The Final Act, and the Strictly Come Dancing couples are aiming for the quarter-final on BBC One.

Sunday night drama includes Showtrial drawing to a close on BBC One and more twists and turns in Channel 4's Close To Me, while Doctor Who airs its second last episode of series 13 and nears the end of Jodie Whittaker's reign.

Kirsty Wark gathers together five other famous women of different ages to spend a week discussing issues facing women today, including safety on the streets, cosmetic surgery and coercive relationships.

The group includes Strictly judge Shirley Ballas, writer Chidera Eggerue, businesswoman Jacqueline Gold, singer Sinitta Malone, and comedian Suzi Ruffell.

If you're already pining over the end of the glorious season 12, there's one last instalment of the Bake Off spin-off show to look forward to.

BBC Two dedicates much of its Saturday evening schedule to Queen, with an earlier programme showcasing their best TV appearances and a later showing of their Christmas Eve 1975 Hammersmith gig.

The jewel in the crown, though, is this documentary about frontman Freddie Mercury's last years and the lead up to his Wembley Stadium memorial concert in 1992, with those who knew and loved him sharing their memories.

It's all to dance for in tonight's show as the couples try to bag a place in next week's quarter-final.

Last week featured the shock result of Tom Fletcher and Amy Dowden being voted out - who will manage to evade the red light this weekend?

As one Sunday night drama draws to a close on the BBC, Channel 4's must-see series is just getting going.

Jo, who has suffered a brain trauma and disturbing flashbacks, feels she is finally beginning to piece together the lost year of her life and wants to confront the woman she was - but as her hallucinations get worse, she suffers a setback.

Starring Connie Nielsen and Christopher Eccleston.
