'Best value' beach resort that's 30C in autumn and perfect for a last-minute trip
A new top destination for affordable, last-minute beach holidays has been revealed, with the Turkish Riviera's hotspot Antalya, snagging the crown. As colder days draw near many are likely seeking the final dose of sunshine before winter sets in, and Mediterranean haven Antalya emerges as the ideal locale, according to Travel Supermarket's latest findings.
The travel giant scanned for the most economical "Best Bargain Beach Breaks" by evaluating factors like the average cost of a week-long stay and daily expenses such as sunlounger and beach bar pint fees.
Antalya stole the limelight, named the prime choice for a beach escape owing to its wallet-friendly offers, balmy September clime, and eye-catching landscape, the Mirror reports. Deals unearthed by Travel Supermarket indicate holiday-goers can snag a seven-night room-only package including daily sunlounger use and refreshment all at just £422.
