The best and the worst of recent food hygiene ratings
IT'S good news for a lot of Isle of Wight cafes, restaurants and shops as they have aced their most recent food hygiene inspections.
Eateries and food production facilities are rated on a scale of 0 'Urgent Improvement Necessary' to 5 'Very Good by the Food Standards Agency.
Environmental health inspections are carried out by Isle of Wight Council officers who rate how hygienic the food handling is, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and the food safety management at each place.
