'Better business' hub in Rossendale aims to grow relationships across the valley

Networking expert Tracy Heatley has launched a new business to ensure businesses have access to opportunities, referrals, and growth through networking Hubs.

Her fortnightly Hub meetings will officially launch in June, with one of the first hubs opening in Clayton-le-Moors at the Dunkenhalgh. For the past 17 years, Tracy has been a licensee of Business over Breakfast Ltd, known as BoB Clubs. However, that business will cease trading in June following a change of ownership.

Tracy, 51, from Rawtenstall, has never been one to stand still and has helped hundreds of businesses over the years and was determined the networking had to continue. She said: “I have launched a new business Better Networking Hubs, a limited company, and our website www.betternetworking.co.uk will be live in about six weeks.

“Fortnightly Hub meetings will officially launch in June, with the first hubs opening in: Rossendale at Do-Dah’s in Rawtenstall, Burnley at the New Waggoners, Rochdale at the Royal Toby Hotel, Accrington at the Dunkenhalgh at Clayton-le-Moors, and at Samlesbury Hall Hotel, Preston.

“Already, 50 businesses have signed up for the new Hubs.”

Tracy is also launching national online networking Hubs which will be open to businesses all over the UK. The online Hubs will bring together businesses and individuals with similar target markets so the networking will be relevant, they can learn from each other, do business together and flourish.

She said: “I am very proud of everything I have achieved through the networking groups I have run over the years, and I am thrilled to put that expertise, knowledge and enthusiasm into launching Better Networking Hubs.”

Her core business Be Better with Tracy Heatley helps businesses benefit from her extensive marketing experience so they can take the next steps in growth and development. Online group programs and one-to-one sessions allow Tracy to cast an analytical eye over a business, help the owners see potential changes they can make to capitalise on opportunities and promote growth.

She used her own Strategy Cycle™ model to work out how to set up the new hubs and get them ready for launch. Although networking groups were originally a bolt-on to Tracy’s core marketing work, having complete control of how the new Hubs will operate lends itself to future expansion.

Tracy said: “I have an unwavering commitment to support the growth of businesses through effective, structured networking that is both rewarding and enjoyable. I am supported by administrative manager, Sarah Spedding, who has worked with me for over six years.”

Members will get fortnightly focused and structured networking meetings including breakfast, face-to-face workshops, on-demand video training courses from Be Better with Tracy Heatley, an online profile which is regularly updated on the Better Networking Hub website, social media links, a platform to promote news and success stories. Plus, access to an exclusive members’ app.

The investment in joining a Better Networking Hub is £157 joining fee, and an annual membership fee of £450 if paid over three installments, or £397 if paid initially in full, plus breakfast fees. While it is better to be a member, Tracy is encouraging business owners to visit a Hub and experience her approach before committing to joining.
