Better latte than never? Turkish cafe serves coffee in an AVOCADO

We may have just hit peak hipster coffee.

Forget anything you may have seen before – one coffee drinker has been served their latte in an avocado.

The avocado had been hollowed out and the latte poured in.

It was not clear how the drinker would taste the coffee, as the avocado did not come with a handle, making it pretty tricky to drink.

The curious incident apparently happened in a cafe in Turkey and has been shared on the internet – to the disgust of many.

Social media users said the drink would taste of avocado – no matter how well it had been hollowed out.

Posted on the We Want Plates subreddit, one person responded: “Forget the fact that the ‘cup’ doesn’t have a handle, wtf is that s*** going to taste like.

“No matter how hard you scrape that avocado clean, when hot liquid is added – the avocado will permeate the latte.”

It’s not the first time coffee drinkers have been appalled by what they have been served.

Last year, one cafe dweller was astonished when his friend’s coffee came served in a test-tube.
