Yahoo News Beyoncé Wears Blush Fringe Elie Saab Coat on Date With Jay-Z
On Friday, Beyoncé and Jay-Z were seen enjoying a date night in New York City. The couple were photographed leaving Hudson Yards together with the Renaissance star wrapped in an all-blush ensemble. She was wearing an Elie Saab coat with fringe detailing and a matching pair of thigh high boots from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2024 Prêt-à-Porter Collection.
Her blonde hair was back and under a semi-sheer scarf in the same soft pink. She was carrying a fluffy pink bag and wearing large brown sunglasses for accessories. Her husband was wearing a navy pullover, denim pants, a silver pendant, and a pair of leather boots.
The couple have been fairly lowkey since the end of her iconic world tour and the release of her critically acclaimed album Cowboy Carter. In April, Beyoncé was presented with the Innovator Award at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards in recognition of all her transformative work. In her acceptance speech, she addressed some of the challenges she faced with her most recent album.
“You call me an innovator, and for that, I’m very grateful. Innovation starts with a dream. But then you have to execute that dream, and that road can be very bumpy,” she said. “Being an innovator is saying what everyone believes is impossible. Being an innovator often means being criticized, which often will test your mental strength.”
She added, “Being an innovator is leaning on faith and trusting that God will catch you and guide you. So, to all the record labels, every radio station, every awards show, my hope is that we’re more open to the joy and liberation that comes from enjoying art with no preconceived notions.”
Cowboy Carter recently received a number of nominations for the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards.
