Britain's Got Talent has added a new twist to this year's semi-finals, with the public having the full say on who goes through.

Stephen Mulhern unveiled the unexpected change in format on tonight's (May 27) spinoff show Britain's Got More Talent.

In previous years, the decisions were split between the public and judges' votes, though it seems they are simplifying it this year with just the public vote deciding who will go through.

However, in yet another twist, the judges will at least get some say as they get to pick a wildcard act each to go through to the live final.

Each night starting Monday, eight of the 40 semi-finalists will perform, ahead of the live final on June 4.

On top of the new reveals, Mulhern also revealed the guest acts that will perform throughout the week, with the likes of Little Mix, as well as previous BGT winners Diversity and Richard Jones popping up.
