Bideford preps for dazzling Christmas lights and lantern parade
Bideford’s Christmas light switch-on is fast approaching, with the big event being held on Sunday, December 1, running from noon until 7pm.
Organiser Lucy Lowe said: “The Quay will be filled with fairground rides, the funhouse and the Terminator will be with us, plus fairground food traders, Jubilee Square will be home to local food producers and crafts stalls - including the Fizzy Pheasant providing festival cocktails, North Devon Hog Roast, Candy’s Cuisine and Wilson’s Kitchen.
“At 5pm the lights will be switched on by a fundraiser of the Tony Hudgell Foundation - learn more about the work they do at the event.
