Biden says 'not worried' by Chinese military maneuvers

STORY: "I'm not worried, but I am concerned that they're moving as much as they are. But I don't think they're going to do anything more than they are," Biden said in response to a reporter's question about Chinese military drills close to Taiwan.

China announced fresh military drills in the seas and airspace around Taiwan on Monday, a day after the scheduled end of its largest-ever exercises to protest last week's visit to the island by Pelosi.

Asked if he thought Pelosi's decision to visit the disputed self-governing island was a "wise move," Biden responded, "that was her decision."

China considers Taiwan part of its territory and has never renounced using force to bring it under its control.
