Biden signs $1.9 trillion stimulus plan into law

Joe Biden has signed the first major piece of legislation of his presidency – the $1.9 trillion stimulus plan to support American businesses and households through the Covid-19 pandemic. It includes the extension of unemployment benefits – which had been due to expire this weekend – as well as funding for vaccines and schools. Also in the show: the UK gives businesses more time to adapt to post-Brexit customs checks, and French shift workers say the curfew restrictions discriminate against those who don't work daytime hours.
