US President Joe Biden was seen waving to spectators at the Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park in Washington on September 29.

The yearly baseball game is played between Republican and Democrat lawmakers and benefits several charities. The Republicans enjoyed a narrow victory, 13-12, this year. On Capitol Hill, meanwhile, the parties remained deadlocked as a potential government shutdown loomed.
