Bieber sorry for 'betraying' fans after cancelling tour
Justin Bieber has said "sorry" to his "betrayed" fans after cancelling the remainder of his 'Purpose' world tour on Monday (July 24).
The popstar had 14 shows left to play, mostly taking in the US and Canada as well as Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Singapore (although definitely not China).
The announcement didn't give a reason for axing the concerts, other than "unforeseen circumstances", but TMZ's cameras managed to catch up with Biebs later on by the beach in Santa Monica. Alright for some...
He said that everything's fine but he's just been on the road for the past two years and is looking forward to "just resting and getting some relaxation".
Asked to give a message to his fans, Bieber said: "I love you guys, I think you guys are awesome.
"I'm sorry for anyone who feels, like, disappointed or betrayed, it's not in my heart or anything and have a blessed day."
"Betrayed" might be an understatement...

Justin was next scheduled to play on Saturday at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas before heading to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California in early August. Fans will be refunded as an earlier statement explained...
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts.
"Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honoured to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run.
"However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase."
