Yahoo News Big Bang Theory introduces new character as show prepares for finale
The Big Bang Theory is introducing Lindsey Kraft as the new bride of Penny's ex-husband Zack, before the show ends FOREVER in 2019.
Kraft, who has starred in Grace and Frankie, Dirty John, The Conners and Living Biblically, will play Marissa and debut in the January 10 episode, before returning for multiple other episodes.
With the introduction of Kraft comes the reintroduction of Brian Thomas Smith (Zack), as the pair have a favour to ask.

Episode 12's synopsis has been released, and here's what it says: "Zack and his wife want a baby, but when Zack is infertile, they ask Leonard for help."
The Big Bang Theory is currently midway through its 12th and final season, and its creator has admitted that wrapping it up is "very, very sad".
"We're coming up on Christmas break, we have one more episode to shoot before we break," Chuck Lorre told Deadline. "We definitely have discussed the finale. And we have a general idea of what we are aiming for with May and the finale.
"These days there's a lot of melancholy in the background at all times. It's been a 12-year project that has been really just a joy. It's going to be very, very sad to let it go."
The Big Bang Theory airs on CBS in the US and E4 in the UK.
