With the success of Young Sheldon, it feels almost inevitable that The Big Bang Theory will produce yet another spin-off.

Luckily, one of its stars has an idea for where the long-running CBS show could go next, and it involves exploring Raj's life more.

Appearing at Comic-Con, Kunal Nayyar was asked about the fact that Raj is the last single guy left in the group.

"I like it. It leaves room for a spinoff, except but it won't be like Young Sheldon, it'll be Old and Fat Raj," he joked about a potential show (via The Hollywood Reporter).

"I enjoy being the single guy. Seriously, it's really fun. You get to explore different aspects and have many potential guest stars."

He then joked as he twirled his moustache: "Wow, that sounded way creepier than I thought it would. It's this moustache, everything I say sounds disgusting."

To be honest, we can get on board with Old and Fat Raj. And given the immense success of Young Sheldon, we imagine it would draw massive ratings too.

Meanwhile, earlier this month CBS revealed that The Big Bang Theorywill return on September 24, followed by new Young Sheldon that same night.

Season 11 ended with Amy and Sheldon's long-awaited wedding, and showrunner Steve Holland teased the aftermath in season 12.

"The premiere episode coming back we're going to see Sheldon and Amy on their honeymoon," he revealed, confirming that Kathy Bates and Teller, of Pen and Teller, will return as Amy's parents.

While there were no plans for them to have a baby, he teased that it was "not completely out of the question".

The Big Bang Theory airs on CBS.
