Big Brother fans can't believe Brooke's movie blunder

Big Brother's Brooke should probably leave the pop culture references to other housemates because she royally messed up a fairly standard one during Tuesday's episode.

The epic gaffe came about as she was venting her frustration to fellow housemates Lewis F and Sian that late arrival Isabella had been telling certain others about how the public felt about them.

Complaining that she hadn't been given any info from Isabella, Brooke then made a pretty egregious error when describing their relationship: "I feel like I'm Bruce Willis in the film Ghost!"

Okay, we imagine you've seen what she's done here and are likely cringing? If not, Bruce Willis was not in the film Ghost - that was the late Patrick Swayze.

Here's what we think happened, and go with us here: Brooke jumbled up a few facts in her brain. Firstly, Bruce Willis was at one time married to Demi Moore, who actually was in the film Ghost.

And also, Bruce Willis was also in the movie The Sixth Sense, which was all about seeing ghosts. So, in a sense, it's an easy mistake to make for a millennial - not that Big Brother viewers are ready to let her off the hook:

We'd like to remind viewers that this admittedly-embarrassing pop culture snafu is still not a patch on fellow housemate Cameron's recent admission that he thought grizzly bears were mythical creatures like unicorns.
