Big Brother bosses have been racking their brains for a way to make the new series better than ever next year – and decided that the best things come in pairs.

Yep, the show’s producers have decided that couples are very much the way to go – particularly ones who “fancy themselves as the next TV duo”.

Of course, Big Brother has had its fair share of housemates who have entered as pairs in the past – including X Factor stars Chloe Jasmine and Stevi Ritchie in 2005, twins Victoria and Emma Jensen last year, and not forgetting 2007’s Amanda and Sam ‘Samanda” Marchant.

The hit reality show will enter its 18th series when it airs in the summer of 2017, and producers Endemol have posted an ad on Facebook encouraging couples, siblings and best friends to get in touch.

Oh, but there is one condition: “Only those with strong opinions and stand out personalities need apply for a place in the Big Brother house.”

Well, of course!

“You can apply with anyone you consider to be family – all welcome to apply,” the ad continues.

All you need to do to stand a chance of appearing on next year’s show is upload a 60-second long video to the Big Brother website explaining why you’re totally kerrrrazy and just HAVE to enter the house.

This year’s winner Jason Burrill ended up taking home a pretty impressive £90,000 for his appearance over the summer, so it’s not to be sniffed at.
