Yahoo News Big Brother surprises fans with eviction update
Big Brother spoilers follow.
Big Brother has shocked fans with its latest episode, with the latest eviction taking place just hours after the most recent set of nominations.
Tuesday’s (October 29) episode saw Emma – who was earlier granted the honour of being the latest Head of House – being given all the power, with the housemate being in sole charge of the nominations.
Emma eventually put Martha, Thomas, Khaled and Ali up for the next eviction. A bigger surprise came during spin-off series Late & Live, though, as host Will Best shared that the evicted housemate would be leaving on the same night.

The ‘Backdoor Eviction’ was confirmed via the show’s official social media accounts, though several fans took to X/Twitter to express their surprise – and minor shock – at the speedy announcement.
"LEAVING LATER TONIGHT????? WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK #bbuk" wrote one surprised fan, with a second expressing their confusion as they asked: "Are they leaving tonight or tomorrow through the back door? #BBUK"
"someone’s leaving TONIGHT???? #BBUK #BBLL" another surprised fan asked, with a fourth imploring their fellow viewers to act swiftly as they wrote: "GET YOUR BIG BROTHER VOTES IN! SOMEONES LEAVING TONIGHT!!! #BBUK #BBLL"

The backdoor eviction wasn't the only surprise of the night, as Will also revealed that the four housemates would be placed in a line, with the evicted cast member being covered in gunge as their fate is confirmed.
The eviction will be shown in Wednesday's (October 30) episode, with the eliminated contestant speaking of their exit and their experience on the show with AJ Odudu on Late & Live.
