Earlier this week, former Big Brother presenter Davina McCall was given the Special Recognition Award at the NTAs.

"Thank you so much. This means so much, I can't even begin to tell you," Davina tearfully said as she accepted her award. "I don't even know where to start, really."

"I want to say thanks to ITV and Channel 4 for always being so amazing. All the production teams for all the shows I've ever worked on.

"I love my job. I feel so privileged to be able to share it with you and that you quite like some of it – not all of it. I've presented some turkeys, I know!”

Big Brother will return in October on ITV2 and ITVX, followed each night by Big Brother: Late & Live.
