Big Brother viewers amused by outrageous lies in secret task
Big Brother spoilers follow.
Big Brother viewers were left amused after the latest secret task went awry, with a game of whispers getting out of hand.
Thursday’s (October 24) episode of the ITV reality show saw the remaining housemates spend their final day together before one cast member is evicted during Friday’s (October 25) instalment.
The drama didn’t stop, however, with Rosie aka Baked Potato and Sarah being summoned by Big Brother to participate in the latest secret task, which required them to spread a false rumour about Baked Potato’s potential romantic partner, Nathan.

Big Brother provided them with the template of the fake story, namely that Nathan was secretly a multi-millionaire who owned his own superyacht. The duo’s task was simple — they had to tell one housemate of the falsehood, with the aim being that half of the house would hear of the story within an hour.
The pair elected to tell Martha of the fabrication, though they had some trouble being subtle in their tactics as Ali began to grow suspicious. From there, several embellishments and outright lies were added to the story, such as Nathan supposedly being involved in “sex parties” on his yacht (which was completely made up).
Baked Potato and Sarah were somewhat successful in their task as half of the house heard the rumour, though they ultimately failed as several housemates deduced that the duo had given a secret mission.

The task — and its subsequent embellishments — was commented upon by several fans of the show, with one remarking on X/Twitter: "just checking but bb said nothing about sex parties right? that was improv? #bbuk"
"Where in Jesus's name did the sex parties part come from #BBUK #BigBrotherUK" added a second fan, with a third finding humour in the task as they noted: "Sex parties on the yacht brilliant #BBUK"
Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX from Sundays through Fridays, followed each night by Big Brother: Late & Live.
