Reality TV veteran Davina McCall has revealed that if ITV ever rebooted hit 90s show Gladiators, she'd be more than willing to present it.

She made the revelation after the broadcaster took to Twitter to ask its followers which television series from their childhood they would bring back if they were given the opportunity. Answers ranged from Wacky Races and Stig of the Dump to Bewitched and Thundercats.

But it was this GIF of leotard-wearing Diane Youdale AKA Jet and Kim Betts AKA Lightning that caught former McCall's eye.

Responding to a reply from ITV that read: "CONTESTANTS ARE YOU REEEEEEADY?! (Obv we're saying this in a John Anderson voice)," the former Big Brother host wrote, "Bagsy present it."

"You mean you wouldn't want to be a contestant?" ITV answered back.

"It wouldn't be fair," McCall laughed.

And speaking of bringing the series back to life, earlier this month, Michael Van Wijk – who portrayed Wolf, the gladiator everyone loved to hate on the entertainment game show – told Lorraine host Christine Lampard that he'd love to see the series be revived.

"To be perfectly honest with you, hand on heart, I could do every single game blind-folded," the bodybuilder, who currently lives in New Zealand, boasted (via Metro). "I'm so fit now, I'm raring to go.

"I would love to do it, I wish the producers would bring it back. You would get all the baby-boomers from the past watching it and you would get a new generation coming up as well.

"It would be a great show for the family again... Please bring it back, I would love to be in it again as a gladiator."

Gladiators aired on ITV between October 1992 and January 2000. Across it's eight-year run, it was presented by Jeremy Guscott, John Fashanu and Ulrika Jonsson.
