Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley has teased the show is coming back with a cheeky Instagram post.

The voiceover guy, who narrated all series of Big Brother and its Celebrity Big Brother counterpart before the show was axed by Channel 5 and Endemol last year, posted a picture of himself on social media inside a voiceover booth, alongside the caption: "Narrating Big Brother - We will be back!"

There's no word yet on whether Marcus was joking or being serious, but we do know another former member of the Big Brother team is keen to get the show back on air.

On New Year's Day (January 1), Big Brother's Bit on the Side presenter Rylan Clark-Neal shared his resolution of sorts was to get Big Brother back on air before the year is out - with promises to fans to fulfil the resolution.

"Cheers everyone. Happy New Year," he wrote on Twitter.

"Thanks for another bonus year for this [The X Factor] reject. Can’t thank yous enough. My resolution.... to bring back [Big Brother UK] and TRUST ME. I’ll do it. Love yous. Here’s to 2019 xxxx."

Whether Rylan will make good on that promise remains to be seen, but we'd say it's a very good sign that Marcus Bentley is either 1) in the studio or 2) already reminiscing about the series.

Bring it back, guys.
