Love Island fans were left furious last night (June 29).

Viewers who were not able to tune into the episode when it was aired on ITV2 at 9pm later tried to download the show from ITV Hub.

However, the catch up system seemed to be suffering a huge production fail meaning the programme couldn't be viewed.

Instead, an error message appeared on screen which read: "We're sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."

With all the drama that kicked off in last night's episodes, it was near enough impossible for fans to avoid spoilers, leaving many infuriated when they tried to catch up online and weren't able to watch the show for themselves.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Whoevers jobs to put love island on itv hub can u sort urself out because I surround my life around this & I'm being attacked with spoilers."

Another then added: "Oh my gosh im seeing love island spoilers everywhere and my itv hub isn't working."

Moments later, a third tweeted: "So I have to sit here and read all the spoilers for love island while the itv hub decides to have a breakdown. Good one."

Shortly afterwards, another commented: "Itv hub needs to sort its shit out ive been sat waiting for 2 hours to watch love island."

A fifth commented: "Was just about to catch up with Love Island but the ITV Hub app isn't working help! @itvhub."

In last night's show, series favourite Camilla was left heartbroken after Jonny finally confessed he wanted to end their romance and re-couple with newbie Tyla.

Although she tried to put on a brave face, in the Beach Hut later on, Camilla admitted that she felt much more conflicted about Jonny and Tyla's growing romantic connection.

"I'm like anyone," she explained. "I'm looking at a gorgeous girl who is exactly his type who he clearly gets on extremely well with wondering, not if I can compete, but if maybe they have something more than what we have.

"You don't get to 27 without that happening to you a couple of times or maybe more so I just don't want to get hurt. I do want to try and give things a shot and not let my personal barriers get in the way of at least giving it everything that I can and for me, that's about being myself and making sure he knows who I am.

"Maybe that means I won't be the right one but at least I know that I did everything I could. That's the only way we're going to work out if it could be something."

Love Island is on ITV2, weekdays at 9pm.
