Police are searching for a family-of-six who piled onto the back of a motorbike after an image surfaced online.

The family were spotted riding through Argentina’s north-western province of Tucuman by a stunned passer-by who saw the six, including small children, riding on the same motorcycle.

Etel Ramirez Nazario, 46, a witness to the ‘shocking’ scene said: 'Three little children who couldn’t be more than three or four were all at the front, the dad was behind them.

'Behind him was another child who I’d say was about seven or eight and then the mum on the back.'

The picture was posted online where viewers quickly condemned the family’s actions.

One, Amatista Avalos Muro, wrote: 'This is absolutely unbelievable.

'These parents are setting their kids up for death.'

A police spokesman said: 'We have seen the picture and strongly condemn this utterly irresponsible and dangerous behaviour.

'We have appealed for anyone who recognises the family to come forward.'

The incident follows a similar scene in February when a family-of-seven were spotted on the same motorbike.
