Bill Bailey has shared his surprising adrenaline-fuelled hobby - skydiving.
The comedian, 57, stunned TV viewers with his dancefloor moves when he was crowned the unexpected winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2020, and now he has revealed he has more surprising talents up his sleeve.
Bailey, who danced his way to victory with Oti Mabuse in the BBC contest and has also thrown his hat in the ring to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest, appeared on The One Show on Friday where he talked about his regular skydives.
He said: "My son got me into it. I was on tour in Australia and in Australia, the age is a lot younger, you can do it at 12, in the UK it is 16.
"So in Australia when he was 12 he said he wanted to do it, so he got me into it."
Bailey admitted that he had been nervous to jump at first and thought he might be able to avoid it altogether.
He recalled: "I went into the plane first thinking I will get to go last and he (my son) will go first and then they switched everyone around in the plane so I was out first, that backfired horribly."
But he added: "It is brilliant. The first one is quite terrifying but then it is such an amazing adrenaline rush and I thought I have got to do this again and I do it regularly now, I have done loads of jumps."
Recently, Bailey joined comedian Joe Lycett for a trip to Iceland as Lycett has now taken over as the presenter of Channel 4's Travel Man.
The show, previously hosted by Richard Ayoade, sees him take a different celebrity on holiday each time as they try out a region's tourist attractions.
Bailey and Lycett experienced volcanoes, chilly outdoor bathing and the northern lights in their journey together, marking the new presenter's first episode as host.
