Billie Eilish is both 'attracted' to and 'intimidated' by women

Billie Eilish has shared that she "never" felt she could relate to girls.

During a candid interview with Variety, the Happier Than Ever hitmaker opened up about her sexuality and identity.

The 21-year-old singer told the publication that she was both "attracted" to and "intimidated" by women. She also revealed that she has previously struggled to relate to women.

"I've never really felt like I could relate to girls very well," Billie said.

"I love them so much. I love them as people. I'm attracted to them as people. I'm attracted to them for real," the singer, who has previously been accused of queer-baiting, continued. "I'm physically attracted to them. But I'm also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence."

The Bad Guy singer was most recently romantically linked to The Neighbourhood's Jesse Rutherford. The duo confirmed their relationship in November 2022 but split in May this year.

Elsewhere in her interview, Billie shared that she struggled with her identity as a woman.

"I've never felt like a woman, to be honest with you," she told the publication. "I've never felt desirable. I've never felt feminine."

"I have to convince myself that I'm, like, a pretty girl," the performer continued. "I identify as she/her and things like that, but I've never really felt like a girl."
