Billie Eilish says that she has been a fan of Tyler the Creator “forever” and credits him for inspiring her music.

On the latest episode of me & dad radio, the Apple Music radio show Eilish hosts alongside her dad Patrick, the singer spoke out about her admiration for the founder of Odd Future.

Introducing Tyler’s song “New Magic Wand” off his latest album IGOR, Eilish said: “Everybody knows Tyler has inspired every part of everything about me”.

She continued: “Basically, I’ve been a fan of Tyler’s forever, and I never really got to listen to all of this album [IGOR].”

The 18-year-old said that she heard “New Magic Wand” for the first time at this year’s Grammys when Tyler performed the track during the ceremony.

The Grammys saw big returns for both Eilish and Tyler, with the latter picking up Best Rap Album for IGOR. Eilish won five Grammys, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year.

In March, Eilish shared the playlists of songs that shared screenshots of her Apple Music playlists filled with the songs that inspired her acclaimed album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
