Yahoo News Billie Eilish says new US abortion bans make her ‘so mad’
Billie Eilish has condemned the new abortion bans in the US, saying that they make her “red” with anger.
The singer was questioned about her views on the topic while attending the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday evening.
Eilish, who was born in California, said she can’t bear to look at her phone following the new restrictions on abortions in US states including Alabama, Georgia and Missouri.
“I have no words for the b*****s in the f***ing White House,” the 17-year-old told Variety.
“It’s so unbelievable. It makes me, like, red. It makes my ears f***ing steam out of my head.”
The singer added that women “should say, should do and feel and be exactly what they want”.
“There should be nobody else telling them how to live their life, how to do s**t,” Eilish stated.
“It just makes me so mad that if I start talking about it, I won’t stop.
“Men should not make women’s choices - that’s all I have to say.”
On Friday, Missouri passed an anti-abortion bill preventing abortions after eight weeks of pregnancy.

The proposed law will only become enforceable in the event that Roe v Wade is overturned.
Roe v Wade was a landmark decision made by the Supreme Court in 1973, which stated that access to a safe and legal abortion was a constitutional right.
Eilish and her brother, Finneas O'Connell, received the joint Vanguard Award at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards.
The singer writes and produces her own music in collaboration with her 21-year-old sibling.
