Billie Piper And Laurence Fox Insist There Were ‘No Third Parties Involved’ In Their Marriage Split

Laurence Fox has used his Facebook account to announce he has split from wife Billie Piper after nine years of marriage.

And his statement insisted ‘no third parties were involved’.

The 37-year-old actor last night confirmed he and the singer/actress – who he married in 2007 and with whom he has two sons Winston, seven and Eugene, three – have gone their separate ways.

A post on his Facebook page read: ‘Laurence Fox and Billie Piper have separated. No third parties are involved. For the sake of our family we request and appeal for space and privacy at this time.’

It comes after Fox, pictured above and below with Piper, describing earlier this month how his “perfect evening” involved cosying up to the blonde, watching TV and tucking into her homemade food.

He said: “Sitting next to my wife, watching telly, taking it easy with a glass of wine and a Thai chilli and basil stir-fry chicken. That’s one of my signature dishes, so I cook it. But she’s a great cook, too.”

In February, Piper, 33 – previously married to TV presenter Chris Evans – supported her husband at the press night of production The Patriotic Traitor at London’s Park Theatre in one of the last nights they were seen together.
