Billie Piper has been seriously mixing it up with her hair choices lately. I mean, did you see her recent mixie? The mullet X pixie blend that's so bad, it's good. She's been sporting peroxide skunk stripes in her black hair for a while now, using the contrast to create the most elaborate sculptural red carpet styles. But just to switch it up again, she's now dyed those blonde areas bright red orange.
Appearing at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards in London, Billie's black bob no longer had dazzling white blonde worked through. Instead, striking red orange pieces framed her face, delivering a new fire-bangs effect.
Sharply centre parted, it took me a while to even notice the loose hair bow created at the back. Her high bun is cinched in along the same line as her parting, with red hair streaking up the band and symmetrically across each side of the bow. How they pulled that off I do not know.
The two-tone hair trend is not going anywhere soon, and with the influx of goth and grunge aesthetic, we predict it's only going to get more brooding and daring. You only need to see how much 'Gemini hair' (where each side of the head is dyed a different colour) is blowing up on TikTok, to know we're in for plenty more dazzling and experimental dye jobs coming our way. And I for one can't wait (to watch).
