Biology Teacher Allegedly Killed and Dissected Rabbits In Front of Pupils

Keeping kids interested in the classroom is tough but is killing a cute fluffy animal the answer?

An Austrian teacher has been accused of killing a rabbit with a bolt stun gun and then dissecting the animal in front of his class.

The teacher at Gymnasium Horn secondary school in Horn, Lower Austria allegedly then said: ‘I’ll be eating that this evening.’

Parents registering their disapproval which instigated the school board’s investigation, reports the UPI

The teacher has denied that any students were present when he killed the rabbit.

Hermann Helm, a school inspector, told the Heute newspaper that ‘unorthodox teaching methods’ and has received a warning.
