A local resident captured a picturesque early morning scene as three birds flew low over an icy Lake Erie as the sun rose on March 21.
The video, by Denis Kreze, was filmed shortly before 8 am as a “fresh skim” of ice coated the lake, he said. “Hopefully that’s the last of it,” he added.
