Birmingham bus stabbing probe as police seek to trace masked man
Police probing a stabbing on a Birmingham bus are re-appealing for information. Officers wants to trace a male pictured in a hood who was wearing a mask.
The victim, 18, was on board a bus when he claims he was approached by two people who stole his phone before stabbing him. It happened on the 8A bus in Golden Hillock Road, in Small Heath, at around 5pm, on November 15.
The pair then 'fled the scene' leaving the teenage victim with a punctured lung. One person has since been spoken to about the incident, while police continue their hunt to speak to the male from the appeal picture.

Taking to Facebook, Birmingham Police posted: "Recognise this person? We're continuing our appeal after a man was stabbed on a bus in #Birmingham.
"Shortly before 5pm on 15 November, the man was a passenger on the 8A bus in Golden Hillock Road, when he was approached by two people who stole his phone before stabbing him. They got off the bus and left the area, leaving the man with a punctured lung.
"One person has since been spoken to about the incident. We're asking anyone else who was on the bus, or who recognises this man, to get in touch with us. Contact us via 101 or LiveChat quoting crime number 20/970558/24."
