Birmingham City have two more games rescheduled after blistering start
Birmingham City have confirmed that two of their forthcoming League One matches have been rescheduled. Blues are top of the division after eight matches having won seven games on the spin for the first time in almost 80 years.
The most recent of those was against Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night when Alfie May netted a second half winner. Blues head to Charlton Athletic for the second time this season on Saturday, having already won at The Valley in the EFL Cup. That'll be the final game before the forthcoming international break, however, and Blues will pause while other sides continue.
Blues already have a game in hand on their rivals after the September international break, in which they would've travelled to Exeter City, and they'll have another imminently, for the home meeting with Cambridge United - and a reunion with Garry Monk - has been delayed because of call-ups.

Blues announced that Paik Seung-ho had been called up to the South Korea squad for October, and with a host of other players involved with their nations - including Lyndon Dykes and Krystian Bielik - the postponement of the U's game has been triggered.
Meanwhile, Blues have also confirmed that the trip to Shrewsbury in the league has been brought forward to a 12:30pm kick off, a revised time agreed by both clubs. This was on police advice. Blues are heading to Croud Meadow for an EFL Trophy clash next week, having been there in pre-season too.
